When will customer payments reach my bank account?

When a customer makes a payment by card, mobile wallet, or Direct Debit, it generally takes 7-10 business days for funds to reach your bank account but can take longer. Exactly how long it takes will depend on the following factors:

Customer payment method

If a customer pays by credit card, debit card, or mobile wallet (Apple Pay or Google Pay), funds will usually be available for payout within 2-3 business days. However, it can take up to 7 days for your first card or mobile wallet payment to clear. This is stipulated by our payment provider.

If a customer pays by Direct Debit, funds will usually take 4-5 business days before they are available for payout. However, the first time your customer pays by Direct Debit can take up to 7 days to clear.

Payout settings

Once a customer's payment has cleared, the funds are added to your payable balance (visible in More > Payments > Payouts).

A payout (withdrawal) will be automatically initiated when your payable balance reaches your payout threshold (Β£500 by default). You can also manually request an instant payout. In both cases, it can then take another 2-3 days for the funds to reach your bank account (although funds often arrive within a few hours of a payout).
