Quotes in getSoapy

The quotes feature in getSoapy allows you to organise all your enquiries from new and existing customers.

On the quotes page, you'll see a list of people who have requested a quote through the getSoapy quote widget or who you've manually added a quote request for. This list shows everyone who is awaiting your quote and those you have sent a quote to.

Quotes are not linked with customers until you convert the quote to a customer.

What should I do if a customer accepts a quote?

When you're done celebrating, head to the quote, click on the menu icon in the top-right corner and select Convert to customer. For help navigating the options that appear, see How do I add a job?

What should I do if a customer declines a quote?

If you're keen to win the work, you can edit the quote to send a more competitive offer. Alternatively, you could offer a discount or another reward using a loyalty card (the quote will need to be converted to a customer before you can add a loyalty card).

If you're satisfied the quote is lost, navigate to the quote, click on the menu icon in the top-right corner and select Close quote. Toggle the Mark quote as declined option to show it was the customer's decision. The quote will be marked as closed and hidden from your quotes list by default.
