How do I buy and sell leads in the marketplace?

To join the getSoapy marketplace and start buying or selling leads, you'll need to set your patch. Later, you can:

• View and purchase leads
• Sell a lead
• Adjust your marketplace notifications
• Edit your patch

Set your patch

1. Go to Plan > Leads.

2. The My Patch map should appear. If it doesn't, click Set my patch.

3. By default, getSoapy will set your patch around your business address. Move the map markers to highlight the area you provide services, or want to provide services (for example, if you want to expand to another area, move the markers to highlight the area you currently service and the area want to start servicing).

4. When you're ready, click Save.

View and purchase leads

To view leads in or near your patch go to Plan > Leads. Like the look of a lead? Snap it up before someone else does by clicking Purchase.

Once you've purchased a lead, go to Manage > Quotes to view their details and send a quote. The lead will appear in the 'New' section at the top of the quotes page.

If there are no leads available, you might want to consider using lead generation.

Sell a lead

You can sell a lead that has requested a quote:

1. Go to Manage > Quotes.

2. Select the Quote you want to sell.

3. Click the menu icon in the top-right corner and select Sell lead.

4. Confirm your lead meets the requirements for the getSoapy marketplace. If it does, toggle the confirmation statement and click Sell.

We'll notify you when your lead is sold.

Adjust your marketplace notifications

To adjust your marketplace notifications:

1. Go to Plan > Leads.

2. Click the menu icon in the top-right corner and select Notifications.

3. Select which notifications you want to receive and click Save.

Edit your patch

If you need to edit your patch:

1. Go to Plan > Leads.

2. Click the menu icon in the top-right corner and select My patch.

3. Move the map markers and click Save.
