Accounts and categories
Accounts allow you to separate your expenses depending on who is paying for them. Most businesses only need one account. But if you sometimes work for another business that will refund your expenses, you can add another account and record your associated expenses against it.
Categories allow you to separate your expenses depending on what they are for. For example, to track your fuel expenses separately from new equipment purchases.
