How do quote statuses work?

To help you keep track of your potential customers and jobs, each quote has a status. The status of each quote is displayed on the quotes page.

Example of quotes statuses on the quotes page

Quote statuses update automatically as you submit a simple estimate, share a cost breakdown, sell the lead on the marketplace, convert the quote to a customer, and as the potential customer accepts or declines your quote.

Here's a list of what each quote status means. There are several main status categories (in blue text):

New
The status of the quote has changed and needs actioning.
Expecting
A quote has been supplied but the customer has not yet responded.
Old
Closed quotes (hidden by default).

Within these categories are several subcategories (in grey text):

Submitted
The quote request has been submitted but you have not yet provided an estimate or cost breakdown.
Estimated
The customer has been given a simple estimate but has not yet responded.
Itemised
The customer has been given a cost breakdown but has not yet responded.
Accepted
The customer has accepted the quote.
Declined
The customer declined the quote.
Rejected
You have chosen not to provide an estimate.
Marketplace

Purchased
