How do I view and manage quotes?

To view and manage your quotes, go to Manage > Quotes.

Click on a quote from the list to view:

Customer details

The customer's name, address, and contact details will be displayed at the top of the quote page.

Quote menu

Click the menu icon in the top-right corner of the quote page to access the following options:

  • Convert to customer and create a customer and job(s) from your quote(s)
  • Sell lead to sell the lead in the marketplace
  • View as customer to view what the customer can see in the getSoapy customer portal
  • Close quote if the customer rejected the quote or if you don't want the job

Quote Details tab

Click on the Details tab to view additional details submitted with the quote request. To edit which details are required on a quote request, see How do I customise which options are included in quote requests?

Estimates tab

Click on the Estimates tab to add, view, or edit a simple estimate or cost breakdown for the job (see How do I send a quote?).

Messages tab

The Messages tab on the quote page displays a history of all communication with the potential customer, just like the Messages tab on the customer page. It shows:

  • messages exchanged with the customer
  • automatic notifications that were triggered for this customer and the delivery status

Toggle Show notification logs off to only view messages. For more information on notification logs and the delivery status symbols, see What are notification logs?

To send a new message to the customer or reply to a message, write a message and click Reply.
