Using Sid (your AI assistant)

You'll find Sid in the bottom-right corner of your app. You can treat Sid like an assistant - ask him anything about getSoapy, or ask him to complete a task in the app for you. He's still learning the ropes, but his capabilities are growing every day!

Type your request into the search bar or tap the microphone to use speech-to-text and then hit enter. Your conversation will continue each time you come back to the app or when you switch devices. To start a new conversation or to get attention from a human, tap on the menu icon in the bottom-left corner.

You can also upload files in the chat, for example, to share a screenshot or some data you'd like help to import. Sid can't access these, but his humans can.

Here are some of the things you can ask Sid to help you with:

Add and manage customers

Sid can add a new customer or make changes to the customer currently on screen or a customer you've just added, including adding and updating jobs.

"Add a new customer called 'John Williams'."

"Change John Williams' address to '1 Hatton Garden'."

Add and manage rounds

Sid can add a new round and make changes to the round currently on screen.

"Add a new round named 'High Street'"

Schedule suggested jobs

You can ask Sid about the suggested jobs for this week or next week. You can also ask him to schedule them for you.

"What's the schedule like next week?"

"Schedule my jobs for next Monday and Tuesday."

Give an overview of your customer invoices

Sid can access an overview of your customers' balances and invoices.

"What's the total outstanding balance for all my customers?"

"How much did I issue in invoices last month?"

Tell you about your jobs

Sid can give you some stats about the jobs you've done for your customers.

"How many jobs did I do last month?"

"How many jobs are overdue?"

Check the weather for you

Sid can give you the weather today near your business address, or you can give him a date and location.

"What's the weather like tomorrow near Kirkcaldy?"
