How do I accept tips?
Turn on the tips feature to allow your customers to add a tip when making a payment in the customer portal or using the payment widget.
The tip amount will not be added to the customer's account balance, but will be recorded separately as "lifetime tips". Tips are also included in payment exports for easy financial tracking.
To turn on the tips feature:
Go to
More>Payments>Payment options.Scroll down to
Accept tips, and toggle the option toShow an option to add tips in the payment widget.
- Remember to click
Save.
Once enabled, customers can enter an amount in the Tip field when making a payment.
