You can now give customers a PIN to access their Portal

You can now provide customers with a secure PIN to log into the Customer Portal.

This can be more reliable than sending secure links by SMS, as phone networks are increasingly choosing not to deliver SMS which contain short links.

You can also provide the PIN to customers over the phone, or in person.

To update your SMS templates to include the PIN go to More > Customers > Message Templates and update each template as required.

Secure links will continue to work as before, and are still automatically included in all emails sent to customers.
