Improved control over notification sending
Posted by getSoapy on 10th February 2024 in What's New . Last updated: 10th February 2024
You now have more control over how customer notifications are sent.
The options for sending by email and/or SMS are now available individually for each notification. You can also now choose to send by SMS only if email isn't available, and vice versa.
This means you can choose the best way to communicate with your customers, and ensure they receive the information they need, while avoiding unnecessary spending on SMS.
To manage your customer notification preferences, go to More > Customers > Notifications.
And to give you even more control than that - you can now choose to disable sending notifications when scheduling a job or marking them as done.
You'll see a new 'Triggers' option when scheduling, skipping or marking jobs done individually, with rounds, or in the calendar. Use this option to disable sending notifications, and even to skip invoicing or charging customers.
