Custom date formats in merge tags

You can now choose how dates appear when using merge tags in invoices, customer notifications, and other templates.

So if you’d rather show a date as 4th May, May 2026, 04/05/2026, or a shorter format that fits neatly into an SMS, you can now pick the one that suits the message. No more being stuck with one date style everywhere like it’s 2007.

When you insert a date-related merge tag, you’ll now see format options in the merge tag menu. That means you can make your documents and messages feel a bit more polished, a bit more consistent, and a lot more suited to how you actually want to talk to customers.
