Add a preferred name for customers

You can now set a preferred name for each customer that will be used in messages and invoices.

For example, if your customer's name is "John Smith" but they prefer to be called "Jonny" or "Mr. Smith", you can now save this preference.

For business customers, you could use the name of your main contact or simply "Accounts payable" - whatever works best for you and your customer.

To set a preferred name, just edit the customer and look for the 'More options' section. We've moved some less-used settings here to keep things tidy and simple.
