Accept Payments with Pay by Bank

You can now let your customers pay using Pay by Bank. Here's what you need to know:
- Customers are redirected to their own banking app or online banking to make payment, so it's familiar and secure for them.
- Money is transferred directly into your getSoapy balance, just like with card or Direct Debit payments.
- Pay By Bank is available in the Payment or Customer Portal widgets.
- Pay By Bank is a secure payment method with a low risk of chargebacks.
- It's significantly cheaper than card payments (20p + 0.9% per transaction, compared to 27p + 1.5% for cards).
- For smaller payments, it's also cheaper than Direct Debit (which is 12p + 1%, minimum 32p).
- If you've already set up payments, you can enable Pay by Bank immediately.
To enable Pay by Bank, just turn it on in More > Payments > Payment options.
If you haven't already, you can set up payments in More > Payments > Set up, and accept all these payment methods today.
P.S. We're considering adding Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payment methods in the future, to help your customers spread the cost of larger purchases. These would likely have fees around 6% per transaction. Let us know if you'd like to see this.
