Reports, rebuilt around the questions you ask
Posted by getSoapy on 12th October 2026 in What's New . Last updated: 12th October 2026
We've rebuilt Reports. Each report now answers one question, like How much has come in? or Who hasn't paid yet?, and they're grouped into Money, Work, Customers and New work. The top of the Reports page shows money in this month, the value of jobs done this month and what you're owed right now.
A few we think you'll use most:
- End of day shows what each person did and took. You'll see their jobs and the payments they recorded, split by cash, card and so on, with every payment and job listed underneath. Handy when a worker needs to know how much cash to hand in.
- Who owes you shows how much is unpaid, how much of that is overdue, how late it's running and which customers owe you the most.
- Profit and loss lets you choose what counts as income: money in, invoiced, or the value of work done. Whichever way your accountant likes it.
- Team puts each worker's planned jobs next to what they got done, skipped or still have to do.
Headline figures now compare with the same point in the previous period, so halfway through this month is compared with the same days last month. Use the arrows by the date to step back and forward a day, week or month at a time, and download any chart as a CSV from its menu.
End of day counts a payment against whoever recorded it in getSoapy. We've only just started keeping track of that, so earlier payments show as Unknown.
Bonus: Sid can now answer questions using the same figures as your reports. Try "How much cash did everyone take today?" or "Who owes me the most?"
If there's anything you'd still like to see added, drop Sid a message and let us know.
